Light stepped forward
through the darkness, and became
life's First Artist
(phos is ancient Greek for Light and is pronounced the same as in photo)
I began with drawing primarily wildlife and horses with pencil and charcoal along with loving to shoot photos. After college I began experimenting in pastel, and watercolor. Now, I have plunged into digital art using both vector and non-vector applications and 3D --XaraXtreme Pro4.0, PSP 7.04, ArtRage 2.0, Caligari Truespace 6.6, Painter X, & PS-CS3-- I've now added a Wacom Intuos.3 tablet to the mix and I shoot photography digitally with a Canon camera.
My standards for myself are high. The goal of my journey on GFX is to improve in technique and imagination. Your constructive feedback is welcome

"Light, Gesture and Color are the key components of any photograph. Light and color are obvious, but it is Gesture that is the most important. There is Gesture in everything. It's up to you to give the Gesture that is most telling."
