Description
Greetings GFX artist'sThis piece is a collection of art-forms. I purchased individually silk flowers and made my first-ever arrangement. The goal was for the arrangement to appear as cut flowers in a vase. Then I did a shooting session 'study' with the arrangement setup in muted lighting. This particular shot cuts out the top of the arrangement and the bottom of the vase; the flash fired for this one.
I wanted some finished work from all this just for the FUN of it-- so I began with minor adjustments of levels in photoshopCS3 and then used some filters in PSP 7.04. Time- a few-four hours there-a-bout.
Hope you enjoy and thnx for viewing!!

I don't like distracting drops on image.
10/07/07 @980
But the water droplets look really awful and cheap in front! I know other people have said this, but they really do! On the part of the image where there is color its nice though so I would suggest leaving them only on the parts of the image with color! In other words take them off the white background so they are not so distracting and ugly!
~just an idea!

Zazill, interestingly your observation--tho I could not have put it in words--is my own take on this, "because there is no intended focus point i think one focuses more on the whole image rather than the core" thnx for your kind comments
Maidith, thnx for the c's and your support

I think it's the blue 'puddle' around the vase area creates a kind of calm area that contrast well with the busy areas of the picture.
I won't mention the filters
