Description

this current image has been adjusted according to danheacock's suggestions and republished. the following descripton applys to the original image...the current one simply has many more photo layers which creat a path with continuity of transition rather than a path of step-like transition from layer to layer

this is an original photo of mine. the photo has been cropped and enhanced. there are 4 layers of the photo stacked on each other. the 2 other layers are repeating bitmaps that I created; one has been changed to greyscale the other inverted to negative form. there is one last layer on top-- it is a transparent, linear-gradient in blu. I used Xara Xtreme and PSP7.4 to creat this image. I'm still fairly new to art on my computer so this took me longer than it would have taken many of you-- tho I apologize-- don't remember how long it took me.
I invite any constructive C&C. I'm particulary interested in your thots on concept and originality. thanks for viewing

Canon PS A640(digital); ISO auto mode; ss-1/250; av-4.0; light meter-evaluative; 21.7mm focal length; superfine image quality; auto white balance

First impression, it's like looking through the glass when it's regulary distorted... I'd say it's well achieved as for perspective. Not sure about smoothed sides, but then again Im not aware what it's ment for. Overall it's a quality work done there :]

Nice work, only thing I don't like is black and the textured frames... but good perspective indeed.

I agree with ThruMyEyez...
What I like a lot about your art, is that it gives me the sensation of stepping in the middle of two mirrors, one reflecting each other, so that you can see the image over and over again... ;) Very Nice Work!! +8/8

I really like the center of the pic but the edges look a bit smudgy imo...
But the repetition is cool and it has a lot of potential :)

thnx L-aura for the c&c! the edges are feathered so this might be the reason for what you see. the amount of feathering can be increased, or decreased during the process--but to change this significantly at this point in the work I may need to begin those layers from their beginning should I want to change them. thnx again!!

Good idea.
I think a white border would look better.

Very nice result, and thanks for the detailed explanation. I wish more people would take the time for writing some background and info, rather than just present their art.

Nice composition :)

Crowns are both, heavenly and helly, that means earthly, because in earth there is heaven and hell at the same time.
